Bus terminal Amsterdam IJzijde
In 2015 contractor combination Strukton and Hollandia B.V. delivered a renewed version of the bus station on the IJ-Side of Amsterdam Central Station. Commissioned by the City of Amsterdam. The unity between the bus and train station has been formed by the similarity of the roof. The word ‘Amsterdam’ is written on it with coloured glass panels. The canopy provides protection to weather conditions for the 30,000 travellers visiting the bus station every day.
Hollandia has used SteelKote coating for the protection of the construction. The very long gloss retention of this coating is an essential addition to this beautiful construction in the heart of Amsterdam.
